'The Simpsons' Gets Warped and Distorted for New FX Network Promo
Mashup.

It’s been two years since FX won the rights to air The Simpsons on their network. For their most recent network promo, they’ve collaborated with LA-based creative studio, Laundry, to create these abstract shorts. “Fans want what’s familiar but are also critical and dismissive if it doesn’t feel like there’s a twist” said the creatives at Laundry whose inspiration for the project ranged from Pinterest searches to Instagram fan art. The final outcome are abstract and playful renditions featuring the characters most recognizable traits from 27 years of broadcasting.
