NYC streetwear staple Supreme drops the visuals for its upcoming and ongoing collaboration with The North Face. The collection, which consists of a hooded jacket ($388 USD), hooded sweatshirt ($198 USD), sweatpants ($168 USD), and a backpack ($148 USD), utilizes a mix of separated panels with asymmetrical zipper layouts. The technology behind the series — Steep Tech — was first introduced in 1991 by skier Scot Schmidt as extreme ski gear for warmth and technical functionality that took advantage of durable materials with a well-thought out placement of pockets and webbing. Bold color choices give each garment a distinctive characteristic, with highlighting details such as the removable hood for the jacket and sectional compartments for the backpack reinforcing another strong release for the collaborative duo.

The Supreme x The North Face 2016 spring/summer Steep Tech collection releases in the Supreme NY, LA, London and Paris locations, and online April 7. Supreme Japan locations will see a release on April 9. Keep up with the latest Supreme discussion at the HYPEBEAST Forums.
