Steph Curry has been seen testing the latest version of his Under Armour sneakers on the court since early March. With the NBA Playoffs kicking off this weekend, UA has officially unveiled images of the forthcoming Curry 2.5 — an upgrade to the point guard’s second sneaker with the sportswear brand. The silhouette incorporates a molded synthetic upper, along with UA’s signature Charged Cushioning for responsive comfort. The design takes cues from the support beams of the Bay Bridge and includes a diamond shape which symbolizes the points of teamwork, as well as a warrior’s spearhead. To further the connection with the team, the heel also includes the coordinates of the Golden State Warriors’ Oracle Arena in California. The Curry 2.5 is slated to release through Under Armour and Foot Locker starting May 28.
