Kobe Bryant's Alma Mater Is Honored in This Special Edition of the Kobe XI
Looking back into the days of high school Kobe Bryant.
The days are counting down fast until Kobe Bryant waves farewell to the game he loves. During Bryant’s farewell tour, Nike has made sure to pay homage to the Black Mamba with a special collection in his honor as well as additional colorways of the Kobe XI. This time around the Swoosh keeps the tradition alive of showing love to Kobe’s Philadelphia high school, Lower Merion. Dubbed the “Aces” colorway, this edition of the Nike Kobe XI swaps its original Flyknit upper with Engineered Mesh, or EM, in an upper that’s dominated by a mix of Cool Grey and Wolf Grey. In addition you’ll find Team Red detailing on the sneaker’s Swoosh and special Aces logo on the right heel. The Nike Kobe XI “Aces” will officially release on April 9 for a retail price of $160 USD at select Nike retailers and online.
