Finnish sports watch specialist Suunto’s newest timepiece, the Traverse Alpha, is a perfect companion for the modern outdoorsman. Not only does the watch feature sturdy construction meant to withstand the elements, but the Traverse Alpha is also a wearable guide, boasting GPS/GLONASS navigation, a moon phase calendar, sunrise alarms, weather trend reports, plus a red backlight for nighttime use. The watch also comes with built-in fishing, hunting and hiking tools to aid in any survivalist’s endeavors. As far as appearances go, Suunto has opted for military-inspired earth tones of olive and brown.
The watch is available to pre-order for $570 USD and will ship on April 19.
