Rolex Introduces the Brand New 41mm Datejust
Rolex combines the Datejust and Datejust II.

The new steel/black ceramic Daytona may have stolen the show lately as far as Rolex goes, but the iconic watchmaker isn’t done yet and has taken the wraps off of its latest Datejust. A two-toned throwback to 1946 that combines the look of the original Datejust with the 41mm size of the Datejust II, the new design couples a sunburst dial with a fluted bezel while the model’s standard date window returns to the 3 o’clock position. The biggest change, however, is the use of an in-house automatic caliber 3235 — complete with 14 patented parts and a Parachrom hairspring — with a 70-hour power reserve.
The new Datejust is available now in a few different make-ups — 904L steel/18k yellow gold/stainless steel or Everose Rolesor gold/stainless steel with diamond indexes and a dial in either champagne or black — and starts at CHF 12,000 (approximately $12,400 USD). And if you like this timepiece, stay tuned for more — as HODIKEE points out, the Datejust (specifically the women’s version) is actually the all-time best-selling Rolex, so you can bet there’s more where the new 41mm look came from.
