Nike continues its run of soccer boot releases by unveiling the second instalment of an ongoing series chronicling Cristiano Ronaldo’s journey to becoming a global superstar. Dubbed “Natural Diamond,” this latest boot focuses on the Real Madrid ace’s move away from his home at the age of 12 in order to pursue his dream of becoming a professional soccer player. While his talent certainly speaks for itself, Ronaldo’s unmatched work ethic is what separates himself from the rest of the pack. Nike draws upon this determination for this design, which sees the Mercurial Superfly CR7 rendered in a gradient blue color scheme with contrasting touches of silver throughout. The unique textured heel of the boot represents the early years in Ronaldo’s career when he was refining his game. Check out the design above and look to purchase it starting March 20 via the Nike Soccer App, while an online release can be expected on March 22.
