OMEGA Debuts a Limited Edition Speedmaster Moonwatch
Based on the original CK2998.
OMEGA has unveiled the Speedmaster CK 2998 tribute at Baselworld. The watch is based off of the original OMEGA CK 2998 released in 1959, which was the second generation of Speedmaster watches. A limited edition watch, the Speedmaster Tribute boasts a manual wind OMEGA Caliber 1861 (Lemania base) which was used in the very first Moonwatch. Aesthetically, the watch keeps its classic Alpha hands and symmetrical stainless steel case. Additionally, the original Speedmaster Seahorse medallion is featured and is embossed on the screw-in caseback. Available in a navy blue color, the watch will be available at OMEGA stores starting July.
