Nintendo Land Is Coming to Universal Studios Japan
Super Mario Kart becomes a reality.

It was announced earlier last year that Universal Studios would begin introducing Nintendo-themed rides at its theme parks. Well, it’s going to be much bigger than that. In fact, the theme park will be introducing a whole area solely focused on Nintendo’s Super Mario. The first of these will be located in Universal Studios Japan, a likely choice as it’s Nintendo’s home base. It is reported that the park (which may be named Super Mario World) will be completed by 2020 in time for the Olympics. Universal is putting up ¥40 billion JPY ($351,509,200 USD) for this project.
