The Nike Air Penny 2 Retro "Varsity Blue" Is Dropping Next Month

Retired NBA player Penny Hardaway’s legacy shoe will be revived in a new 2016 retro of the Nike Air Penny 2. After releasing a bright red “Miami Heat“ edition at the beginning of the year, Nike brings a contrasting “Varsity Blue” colorway to Hardaway’s signature sneaker that bears a similar resemblance to the bright blue colorway of the 2011 Sole Collector x Nike Air Penny 2s. Smooth blue waves detail the model’s black upper that’s highlighted with a white sole and accents throughout while Hardaway’s “1 Cent” logo is embroidered at the ankle in place of a Swoosh.
