Former Nike Designer Marc Dolce Is Now Officially on Board at adidas
The new Vice President and Creative Director of the Three Stripes.
After leaving the company back in the fall of 2014, former Nike designer Marc Dolce is now officially on board at adidas. As Nice Kicks has astutely pointed out, Dolce — who sat on the sidelines for a year following his departure from Nike and the ensuing lawsuit filed by the Swoosh — updated his Facebook page this morning with his new title: Vice President and Creative Director of the Three Stripes. The update also points to Dolce’s new stomping grounds: the Brooklyn Creator Farm. A brand new addition to adidas’s New York offices, the new Brooklyn space will be the sportswear giant’s “first full service, end-to-end design space for the brand in New York” and where Dolce will likely be joined by Mark Miner and Denis Dekovic — former Nike comrades who also left back in 2014.
Will the trio further adidas’s rise?
Stay tuned.
