Chinese Sneaker Brand Purlicue Wraps Its Sneakers in Layers of Leather
Hender Scheme meets BDSM.

As part of its Year of China initiative, Opening Ceremony has offered a quick look at Chinese premium sneaker brand Purlicue’s latest collection, which features a run of recognizable sneaker silhouettes all wrapped in butter-soft, natural calf leather. The kicks’ leather soles are easily replaced once sufficiently worn down, and the extra leather throughout the kicks can be removed or worn down and out as the wearer sees fit. The kicks are available in a Jack Purcell tennis sneaker, a laceless chukka and a strapped sneaker.
The luxe kicks are priced between $300 and $365 USD and are currently for sale at Opening Ceremony.
