It’s already a feat to climb a 1,500-foot-tall (475m) radio tower with safety equipment, but YouTuber Urban Endeavors took that feat into pure insanity by ascending the antenna with none of that, and absolutely nothing keeping him from a very long fall to his death except pure physical endurance. Add to that the dangers of electrocution and radiation, but luckily it was determined over three months’ of research that this particular tower was already deactivated. All in all, the climb took two-and-a-half hours to ascend, and 1.5 hours to descend, making what the climber claims is the world’s tallest free-climb of an antenna.
