Following the success of last year’s Air Jordan 1, Jordan Brand’s ultra-luxe, lifestyle-focused Pinnacle series will extend into 2016 with the Air Jordan 4. Previewed some months ago, the line’s first release is a premium, black-and-white version of the popular silhouette — a refined rendition that features sumptuous, tumbled leather uppers, reptile-embossed leather and pony hair panels, and quilted leather insoles. Coupled with a contrasting white outsole, the result is an elevated Air Jordan that builds upon the approach and popularity of the well-executed, but pricey Pinnacle releases from 2015.
