Pharrell Announces Co-Ownership of G-Star RAW

One of hip-hop’s most revered tastemakers, Pharrell Williams, has taken to Instagram to announce his co-ownership of the premium denim brand G-Star RAW. The Amsterdam-based clothier opened shop back in 1989, during Pharrell’s high school band days, but most recently began collaborating with the award-winning musician on a collection of denim made from recycled plastic that is found in the ocean. Although partners in design, we’re not sure anyone saw a co-ownership in the works. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
