This Martial Artist Drives a Pristine, No-Frills 400 HP Mazda RX-3
Always prepared and ready for anything.
In the latest episode of “Made to Drive” by Petrolicious, the all-things-automotive channel focuses on Savant Young and his beautiful Mazda RX-3. JDM to it’s core, the Mazda RX-3 is a 10A-motored version with a Greddy T66 turbo shoved into it; a once 90 horsepower engine now produces more than 400+ horsepower and thus turned a compact family car into something much more. Like Savant, the RX-3 is “ready for anything” — Savant compares when he’s in the cage competing during his martial arts matches to setting off against some of the cars on the street in his turbo’d RX-3, in that he’s “always prepared.” Check out the stunning vehicle and inspiring interview above, and be sure to watch the previous episode which included a similar relic of the ’70s: the “Killer Bee” RX-2.
