Lil Uzi Vert Refuses to Rap Over DJ Premier Beats
Ebro gave him some Kanye West instead.
Lil Uzi Vert was recently invited to Hot 97 to chat with Ebro, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg. The Philadelphia rapper talked about a variety of topics: playing the trumpet back in school, how he likes to live in the moment and improvise on the go, and why he is not a fan of “old” hip-hop. When Ebro requested for Uzi to rap over a DJ Premier beat, he refused, explaining that neither he nor his fans enjoy that type of music.
