Controversy surrounding the employment of underage models was seemingly addressed when New York and California passed the “Child Performers Protection Act“ legislation in November of last year. However according to a new report on Fashionista, 10-year-old Kristina Pimenova has landed modelling contacts with both LA Models and New York Models, bringing to light once again the question of “how young is too young?” Pimenova has already starred in campaigns for Armani kids, Dsquared2 and Roberto Cavalli Junior, but is signing her to contracts with multiple agencies based on her mother’s consent a step too far?
