'Pokémon GO' Officially Transforms Starbucks Into PokéStops and Gyms

Two days ago, a leak hinted at a possible Pokémon GO and Starbucks collaboration. The mobile game has confirmed on its website that the deal is in fact happening and will go live today at 11 a.m. PST. The new partnership was formed in order to transform 7,800 Starbucks stores in the U.S. into PokéStops and Gyms. This will enable the coffee company to do what they do best – provide social interaction and networking places, in this case for Trainers to engage with its local communities and fellow players. There will also be a special edition Pokémon GO Frappuccino to celebrate the partnership. Will you be copping the new drink?
