Hot Toys Recreates 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' Scene in Stop-Motion Video

Hot Toys figurines are so realistic they seem to come alive, and that appears to be the case in this new stop-motion short of a Rogue One: A Star Wars Story scene. To demonstrate just how incredible their deluxe action figures are, Hot Toys has created a stop-motion animation of the Chirrut Îmwe’s Stormtrooper take-down from Rogue One. The fight scene features new choreography that highlights the 1/6th scale collectible action figures’ 30 points of articulation, interchangeable hands and even Chirrut’s facial pores. The two-minute video took over a month to create, incorporating over 2,600 still pictures.
