After receiving a first look at Pandora: The World of Avatar, Disney World’s upcoming attraction offers a preview behind the scenes of what can be expected when it opens next year. With interviews by Avatar director James Cameron, producer Jon Landau and Joe Rhode, the Senior VP of Walt Disney Imagineering, the clip shows us the complexities of the mechanics and engineering behind the exhibit, while also giving a sneak peek at the breathtaking landscapes parkgoers can immerser themselves in. From riding on a bird-like ikran and seeing aerial views of the fictional world, to traversing the Navi River through the bioluminescent forest, watch how the mind-blowing attraction was created in the video above. Pandora is scheduled to open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this coming summer.
