Vans and Civilware Come Together for a Handsome Service Boot
Style and durability meet at the intersection of skateboarding and hunting.

Skateboard label Vans has partnered up with outdoors and hunting goods brand Civilware to create a Service Boot that will surely provide a “lifetime of service.” Built with comfort and durability in mind, the sneaker features a water-resistant pig suede upper that wraps around the vamp, mudguard and heel. A soft full grain leather quarter panel extends over your ankle to form the hi-top silhouette. The tongue, made from a breathable ballistic nylon, features a special retro Vans and Civilware collab sewn patch. And to up the practicality of the shoe, a reverse Lug MTE vulcanized waffle sole provides grip, and a Dri-Lex moisture management lining keeps your feet dry and breathable. Although Civilware is known for its axes and folding knives, the company was started and is still run by professional skateboarder Geoff Rowley, making this collaboration a nod to his skateboarding past. The limited edition Vans x Civilware Service Boot retails for $110 USD and is available here.
