Cape Heights Taps SOPHNET. for a Collaborative Collection of Brightwood Parkas
Massachusetts winter wear by way of Japan.

Cape Heights may seem like an unusual collaborative partner for SOPHNET., but the Massachusetts-founded company has been churning out New England staples since the early ’90s — its factory even produces down-filled pieces for brands like Penfield, L.L. Bean, EMS, Lands’ End and Cabelas. With that in mind, the Japanese brand has tapped one of Hudson-based Cape Heights’ staples — the Brightwood — for a co-branded Fall/Winter 2016 drop. Due out this weekend, the range of parkas includes seven different colorways in all, each of which boasts details like water-repellant construction, nylon lining, a removable fur-lined hood and a bevy of pockets and toggles.
Retailing for ¥89,000 JPY (approximately $814 USD), the co-branded Brightwoods are set to hit SOPH. locations this Saturday, November 19, before dropping online Monday, November 21.
