McDonald's in Japan Has Created Another East Meets West Fare
Could this be the next Ramen Burger?
There are few things more American than a classic McDonald’s hamburger, but that hasn’t stopped the fast food heavy weight from evolving and customizing itself to different cultural influences. McDonald’s Japan has released a new item on its menu that features the iconic Japanese pork katsu, a breaded and deep-fried pork cutlet, injected with a bit of American love — a healthy dose of cheese. The new frankenburger is called the Cheese Katsu Burger. It can be found at participating McDonald’s Japan locations starting on November 2 for a limited time only. The burger costs ¥390 JPY (about $3.75 USD). Take a look at the burger in action below.
