Warren Lotas Showcases His MACHINE Collection in "MOVING PARTS" Editorial
The young designer launches a fifteen-piece collection from scratch.
DIY designer Warren Lotas has done away with blanks, moving from sewing flannel shirts to presenting a full-fledged collection of fifteen original pieces. For an editorial titled “MOVING PARTS,” the Massachusetts creative enlists photographers Myles Hall (@alifeinadiary) and Cian Moore (@okaycian). The editorial features New York City youths Luka Sabbat and Mike the Ruler while paying respects to longtime stockists VFILES with an appearance from Danielle Greco. The title of the collection, “MACHINE” stands in sharp contrast to Lotas’ painstaking methodology, weaving and painting his pieces by hand. The collection delivers oversized outerwear pieces including the “chrome death” canvas space jacket, the “freak neck” sheepskin and silk-lined flight jacket. Other standouts include the silk-lined Velvet Carpenter Jeans and embroidered barb-wire track pants. Visit Warren Lotas’ website to catch a limited launch tomorrow.
