visvim founder Hiroki Nakamura returns with volume 2 of his dissertation on the aging process of his products and the importance of weathering. In “Old visvim Never Dies Vol.2,” Nakamura outlines how he uses specific garments and how the weathering process directly influences his fondness for an item. Additionally, he notes that ageing helps dictate what materials, dyeing methods and constructions will be used to allow an item to last as long as possible. Photos of Nakamura’s personal items are included alongside the dissertation to illustrate his thoughts and serve to represent the quality of design that is put into visvim products.
