'The Simpsons' Writer Kevin Curran Dies at 59
The mind behind the long-running iconic series.

Kevin Curran, a veteran comedy writer who spent 15 years on The Simpsons, died on Tuesday, October 25 at his home in Los Angeles after suffering from complications from cancer. The six-time Emmy winner was 59 years old. Curran started working on The Simpsons in 2000 and he stayed with the animated show through 2015, earning three Emmys during his tenure on the show. In addition to The Simpsons, Curran also wrote for Late Night with David Letterman and Married… with Children. Friends and former colleagues took to social media to pay tribute to Curran.
