When Tinker Hatfield was designing the Nike Air MAG for Back to the Future II, the storied footwear designer was envisioning a shoe that would be at home almost 30 years into the future. Going on to become one of the most iconic shoes in footwear history, the Air MAG is finally back and Nike is expected to announce news regarding a 2016 version of the shoe. In the meantime, these sketches by Tinker Hatfield have surfaced, showcasing the shoe’s earliest iterations.
