Gorillaz ‘The Book of Noodle’ Multimedia Story Is a Thrilling Experience
The story picks up after the band’s 2010 album, ‘Plastic Beach.’

Today, the legendary British virtual band has launched a new multimedia story on their official Twitter account, titled The Book of Noodle. The story picks up after the band’s 2010 album, Plastic Beach, and unravels over a course 11 video tweets. The plot builds around a conflict between official lead “guitarist” Noodle and a shape-shifting villain known as Mazuu. She has been hunting down the demon throughout Tokyo over the past six years and after expediting her enemy, she FedExes herself across the globe to rendezvous with bandmate Murdoc.
