Netflix Announces the Premiere Date for Marvel's 'Iron Fist'
Danny Rand joins Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage next March.
The final member of The Defenders is coming to Netflix early next year as the streaming platform has announced the premiere date for its Iron Fist series with Marvel: Finn Jones’s (of Game of Thrones fame) chi-wielding Danny Rand will hit your screen come March 17, 2017. And though a release date has yet to be officially announced by Netflix, you can expect The Defenders — featuring Rand alongside Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage — to drop sometime later on in the year. Here’s Netflix’s own synopsis for the Iron Fist series:
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.
