The NBA Will Drastically Improve the Mobile Viewing Experience for the 2016-2017 Season
Better views of all 29 NBA arenas.
The NBA is taking big steps to optimize the viewing experience for mobile users – if you’ve used League Pass on your phone you’ll have noticed that most footage is made for TV, leaving any viewer squinting at the screen after an extended period of time. For the 2016-2017 season the NBA have introduced a close up camera system, called the Mobile View option. The league have teamed up with Turner Sports to install new cameras in every team’s arena, ensuring that you’ll get the same experience on mobile that you’re used to on TV. Mobile view costs $200 USD per year, while a team specific pass costs $120 USD and a single game costs $7 USD.
