Watch Vice President Joe Biden Do a Mean Burnout in His 1967 Corvette Stingray
“I shouldn’t say this on television—I like speed.”
Jay Leno took to Twitter to share a special sneak preview for the forthcoming season of his auto show, Jay Leno’s Garage. The teaser portrayed Vice President Joe Biden offering the television host a ride in his sweet 1967 Corvette Stingray. The VP was super stoked to finally get behind the wheel of his vette—apparently our state leaders aren’t permitted to drive while they’re in office with the presumable exception of marketing stunts. Once the duo hopped inside the car, Biden immediately ripped a mean burnout. He went on to tell Leno that the car was a wedding gift from his dad and that he even “buried it” up to 160 miles per hour in the summer of ’67.
Watch the sneak preview below and expect Biden’s segment on “Jay Leno’s Garage” to appear this November 9 at 10 p.m. EDT.
There’s no debating who has the need for speed in the @WhiteHouse.
