Retro Sportswear Vibes are Strong in the Han Kjøbenhavn x Pendleton Collaboration
The Danish label returns to its roots.
Han Kjøbenhavn surprised many by incorporating Chinese characters on various 2017 spring/summer offerings as an homage to Eastern cultures. Now for its second collaboration with Pendleton Woolen Mills, the Danish label has opted to return to its roots in Copenhagen’s outskirts, incorporating a mix of custom wool blends and stonewashed Kaihara denim into retro sportswear silhouettes. Comprised of three styles, a bomber, zip-up sweatshirt and slim-fitting joggers are reworked in a segmented fashion displaying the clashing applications of the materials, most notably along the sleeves of both tops.
