The adidas Skateboarding Team Hits the Streets of Saint Petersburg & Moscow

While the Cold War may have stunted the growth of skateboarding in Russia at first, there’s no doubt that the country is now home to a fledgling skate scene that has to some extent, come up hand-in-hand with the rise of streetwear. A new generation of skaters with a completely unique sense of style and flair are beginning to make their mark on the sport, perhaps most recently with Gosha Ruchinskiy and Tolia Titaev’s new apparel line PACCBET. However, some of the industry’s bigger names such as adidas have also established a presence in the country with their own skate teams. To showcase some of the talents on the team, the Three Stripes has unveiled a new video titled “DAY /// NIGHT” following the likes of Stas Provotorov, Dima Rodionov, Markel Andronov, Philipp Kharel, Dilip Kharel and more, as they hit up some of the best street spots Moscow and Saint Petersburg have to offer.
