JonOne x Guerlain Limited Edition Fragrance Bee Bottle
The NY-born, Paris-based artist lends his signature scrawl to the famed French perfumery.
After working on a collaborative collection with Lacoste L!VE back in November, legendary street artist JonOne returns with yet another fashion project. This time around, the New York-born, Paris-based creative lends his hallmark scrawl to renowned French perfumery, Maison Guerlain. Reinventing the esteemed Bee Bottle, which was originally designed to celebrate the marriage between Napoleon III and Eugénie de Montijo, the unmistakable silhouette is reworked with JonOne’s distinct aesthetic. Captured by director Jane Han, the artist’s creative process is documented in a stylistic video (entitled The Dark and Wild Becoming) that takes a candid look into his studio. Overlaid with a breathy voiceover by the artist himself, vibrant colorations of blue, orange and pink are splashed on to the bottle to embody the primary notes in Guerlain’s signature fragrances: Shalimar, La Petite Robe Noire and Rose Barbare. To find out more about the collaboration, you can head over to Guerlain online and can watch the full video above.
