Jaquet Droz Previews the Grande Seconde Off-Center
White gold and onyx give this timepiece an unfathomable mystique.

Ahead of Baselworld, Swiss watch maker Jaquet Droz has provided a preview of its Grande Seconde Off-Center Onyx timepiece. Subtle and understated, the watch features a 43mm stainless steel case housing a cut and polished black onyx dial, atop which two 18-carat white gold rings intersect — the smaller aperture containing the hour and minute hands, and the larger, the seconds hand. Powered by Jaquet Droz’s in-house caliber and a 68-hour power reserve, the Grande Seconde is finished with a black alligator leather strap. Look for this watch to premiere among others at Baselworld 2016 at the end of March.
