Gosha Rubchinskiy 2016 Fall/Winter Collection
“Save and Protect.”
Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy returns to Paris Fashion Week with the presentation of his 2016 fall/winter collection, which pairs the brand’s signature branding with sturdy outerwear. The Russian brand continues to draw inspiration from youth culture, using skate belts to hold up oversized sweats that still manage to pool around monochromatic Reebok sneakers. Another nostalgic piece is the St. James T-shirt that references Guess’ classic look, albeit with two pairs of sleeves. Rubchinskiy’s brand livery is emblazoned on tees and sweats, as well as suspenders. Other graphics include cyrillic script on tees and crews that reads “HARDCORE” and “Save and Protect.” The vibes are as Soviet as ever, with shearling and duffel outerwear designed to brave even the harshest of the elements.
