Father and Son Donald & Kiefer Sutherland Star in Upcoming Western 'Forsaken'
The first time the duo have shared the big screen at the same time.
While father and son Donald and Kiefer Sutherland can both be considered veterans of Hollywood — both have led acting careers spanning decades — they have never appeared together in the same scene, that is, until now. Having premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, Forsaken is a Western that stars Kiefer Sutherland as gunslinger John Henry Clayton, who returns home to Fowler, Wyoming after fighting in the Civil War. There, he tries to mend his relationship with his estranged father, town pastor Reverend Clayton (Donald Sutherland), but must step up to the plate when railroad capitalists and their thugs begin threatening homesteaders to sell their land to clear the way for the railroad. Also featuring Demi Moore and Brian Cox, Forsaken will be released in cinemas and video on demand on February 19.
