BBC Radio 1’s stripped-down studio sessions almost always yield some quality performances, and Sampha‘s recent stop by the BBC Radio 1 studios is no different. Sitting down for one of BBC Radio 1’s “Piano Sessions,” Sampha delivered a powerful cover of Air’s “All I Need” and an incredible live rendition of his own record, “Timmy’s Prayer.” As songs like his collaboration with Kanye West showed, Sampha is certainly one of the most talented, soulful singers out there right now and his return to music shouldn’t be slept on.
