Urwerk UR-106 Lotus
Urwerk translates its signature aesthetic to a more streamlined timepiece.

Long known for its complex, creative, avant-garde timepieces, Urwerk has introduced its latest watch: the UR-106 Lotus. Making use of the manufacturer’s signature satellite hours in a whole new way, the design employs a tri-part carousel with each satellite boasting four hour numerals along the minutes scale. The timepiece even features a lapis lazuli-constructed moon phase for added complexity. The UR-106 Lotus is set to be available in two different versions: one in titanium with diamonds at the bezel, crown, and buckle and another in black PVC-coated titanium and steel with black diamonds throughout. Despite being billed as the brand’s very first women’s watch, HODINKEE points out that there isn’t anything particularly feminine about the design while its 35 mm x 49.4 mm x 14.45 mm measurements make it infinitely more wearable than some of Urwerk’s more audacious timepieces.
The UR-106 Lotus will soon be available for CHF 85,000 (approximately $87,675 USD).
