Nike KD 8 "Vinary"
Kevin Durant dedicates this latest colorway to two of his basketball heroes.
Known for being vocal about those who have inspired him, Kevin Durant pays homage to two of his idols in this latest addition to the Nike KD 8 line. The colorway name “Vinary” is most probably a portmanteau of Vince Carter, his favorite player to watch growing up, and Larry Bird, the player from the past who he would most like as his teammate. The shoe itself is outfitted in a black, green and white upper representative of Larry Bird’s Boston Celtics, while Carter’s Toronto Raptors team colors inform the purple and red midsole and outsole. Anticipate the Nike KD 8 “Vinary” to release online at Nike on October 1 for $180 USD.
