Mercedes-Benz Unveils the S-Class Cabrio
Mercedes calls this one of the “most beautiful and exclusive S-Class cars of all time.”
The latest in the hallowed S-Class lineage is the new Cabrio convertible, which Mercedes-Benz dubs one of the “most beautiful and exclusive S-Class cars of all time.” Closely resembling the S-Class Coupe, the Cabrio otherwise features a retractable acoustic soft-top that can disappear in 20 seconds. Meanwhile, a brand new THERMOTRONIC intelligent climate system keeps passengers comfortable regardless of whether the roof is open or closed, and a range of premium leather upholstery options keep the interior classy. Other interior options include heated seating, a wind reduction system, or even fragrances to keep the car smelling fresh. Under the hood, the Cabrio sports a twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 capable of 516 pound-feet of torque and a 0-100km/h time of 3.9 seconds. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabrio is set to become available in Germany in December, to be shipped in Spring 2016.
