The Gloomy Black Burgers Are Coming to the US for Halloween
Would you like a black burger with that?

Experimental fast food has long been a quirky and odd idea associated with chains in Asia (McDonald’s Black and White burgers in Hong Kong, Burger King’s equally odd Red burgers), but now, Burger King is looking to make black-colored buns a trend in the US. Following its highly divisive Japan-exclusive Kuro Burgers, which featured black buns, black squid ink sauce and black-colored cheese, the fast food giant is now introducing a similar menu item to ring in Halloween. Although the US version will replace the squid ink and black cheese with the more familiar A1 sauce and regular-colored cheese, it will nonetheles feature the same alarming buns dyed black with bamboo charcoal. Will you be ordering one when it’s available?
