Apple Unveils the iPhone 6s & 6s Plus
3D Touch technology gives the 6s and 6s Plus a new level of user experience.
Apple’s Special Event left many eager fans drooling over its new tech, and within those new offerings is this; the all-new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Maintaining the size and weight of its predecessors, the new smartphones provide its user with the same feel, but with all new technology for a revamped user experience. Its latest tech is in the form of 3D Touch; pressing harder onto the screen will allow for new commands and contextual menus across the entire operating system. This can allow for users to peek into photos and email, do common commands for native apps, and even provide tactile feedback from its all new Taptic Engine. The rear iSight camera also sees an upgrade with 12 MP, now with 4K video recording ability and a new “live photos” feature that turns your still images into moments of animation. Other features to round out the new release include a faster Touch ID sensor, an all-new A9 chip and faster Wi-Fi and LTE speeds.
Pre-order your iPhone 6S and 6S Plus in silver, gold, “Space Gray” and an all-new “Rose Gold” color, starting at $199 USD and $299 respectively on September 12, with availability shortly after on September 25. Along with the new hardware comes software; iOS 9 will be available to download on September 16.
