First previewed back in April, here we take in a closer look at Vin Diesel’s forthcoming supernatural epic: The Last Witch Hunter. The film splits its script between medieval times and the present day, as Kaulder (Diesel) – the immortal witch hunter – must protect New York City from an impending plague set up by a dangerous coven. In order to defeat the witches, Kaulder must enlist the help of the Dolan family (represented here by Michael Caine and Elijah Wood) as well as a beautiful witch. Of particular note though, the film looks like a promising, entertaining take on an age-old story. Enjoy the trailer above and look for The Last Witch Hunter to hit theaters on October 23 – will you be copping tickets?
