The Instagram for Professional Photographers Gets a Redesigned iOS App
500px is a service for serious photographers, and its new iOS app ensures a smooth experience.

500px is a service built around serious photographers with an online community and platform, hoping to also fill in the mobile void of professionals uploading their DSLR shots solely onto a computer. Cutting out all the superfluous material that come out of platforms such as Instagram (ahem, selfies, food, etc…) 500px aims to connect photographers together, acting as an elevated version of an image sharing network. The service has just revamped its entire mobile experience, introducing a new iOS app that gets rid of its old and admittedly clunkier make up for something more streamlined. Boasting a clean and minimal aesthetic, the new app also features a Discover tab to check out other interesting photos and photographers. Give the platform a try, and download the iOS app here, while its Android counterpart is on its way.
