Although reared in California, Mark Suciu’s distinctly eastern approach to skateboarding has become the stuff of lore over the past few years. Suciu’s on-board skills are unparalleled for his ridiculously quick feet and ability to adapt to nearly any context – both of which traits and more have been duly honored with a professional model on adidas. What makes Suciu’s style so special is that it translates well to the ledge-centric plazas of the East Coast, which is a unique characteristic of cities like New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. where civil and skate interests intimately converge.
