Lucki Eck$ wants to showcase his new self and outlook on his latest. Fittingly titled “Newer Me,” the song serves as the rapper’s first major effort since releasing his last project, X. The latest from Lucki Eck$ may literally speak of a “newer” person, but the sound is the same: swaths of psychedelia, chopped and screwed sampling and the same flow the rapper’s been perfecting since hitting his city’s scene.
