Cristiano Ronaldo Bought His Agent a Greek Island
Wedding gifts have no limits.
Cristiano Ronaldo had the role of best man at the wedding of agent, friend and longtime confidant Jorge Mendes to his partner Sandra recently, and he’s reportedly gifted the new couple with their own Greek island. It’s no new news that Greece has been experiencing crippling economic problems, and there’s been an onslaught of Greek island properties that have been put up for sale as a consequence. Ronaldo’s gift could be worth anywhere between €3 million EUR and €50 million EUR (approximately $3.3 million USD and $54.9 million USD). Mendes is responsible for signing the Portuguese forward to Manchester United back in 2003 and is one of the most successful football agents in the world, and with over a $100 million USD fortune, he’s also one of the richest men in Portugal.
