Seemingly, A$AP Rocky is making a concerted effort to start taking the higher road. With the release of his sophomore album, A.L.L.A., the loss of his best friend A$AP Yams and perhaps finding himself in a significantly evolutionary year in his life, it’s apparent his priorities have shifted. The Harlem native walked away from a fight in the UK because he realized he, indeed, had more to lose than the man who threw the bagel at his Uber. In an interview with The Guardian this week, he indicated that he kind of regrets that Rita Ora diss on “Better Things.” Back in May, when his album dropped, Rocky obviously found himself explaining it in interviews and even then said he didn’t think she was a bad person by any means, just when he himself was doing things he should not have been, provided the circumstance, she had a big mouth about it, however now in hindsight he seems to see it a little different.
“The Rita thing was tasteless of me, [But] I’ve got to stand by it, because I did it. I said it. Who gives a fuck about who I’m fucking? Nobody really cares. It’s fun to hear, but who really gives a fuck about who Rita Ora’s fucking?”
